After graduating from the University of Delaware in 2013, I began working for Cecil County Public Schools. I have absolutely loved my time with this district, and I actually represented them as Cecil County’s 2018 Teacher of the Year.
I love kinesthetic activities and hands-on learning. As someone who is constantly fidgeting and needing to move, a lot of that is incorporated into my teaching as well.
I also believe that creating a welcoming, safe environment is of utmost importance.
I am one of the main presenters for the Keeping the Wonder Workshop, a hands-on professional development event designed for secondary English teachers. In addition, I present on various matters relating to education at the school, county, and national level.
